History: The “Romance” pattern features delicate sprays of light blue flowers with pink scrolls and grey foliage on white fine bone china. Its soft, romantic and quite in line with the post- war eras refined domestic trends. The crown and lion/horse crest along with the text “by appointment…” indicates the piece was made after 1953, when Paragon received its royal warrant from Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. While the “Romance” pattern is not among the rarest Paragon it is still sought after for its charm.
