History: This figural vase showcases a jumping red dolphin and wave motif, crafted in a mold with vivid pearlescent glaze effects. The blend of red, violet, and blue creates a rainbow-like finish that is typical of mid-century lusterware. Although unmarked, its size (approx. 7.5–8 cm tall), glaze quality, and sculptural detail are consistent with decorative ceramics made for export markets during the post-war economic boom. These kinds of objects were popular on vanities, in bathrooms, or as part of whimsical decorative scenes, and continue to appeal to retro décor enthusiasts today.
