History: This kind of delicate watercolour-like florals was a hallmark of Paragons post-war designs, appreciated for their graceful subtlety compared to the bolder styles of earlier decades. While the exact name is not printed this appears to be one of Paragon’s unnamed but numbered floral patterns. The hand-painted code A1045/R was likely used internally or by decorators. The presence of royal warrants (“by appointment”) and the lion and unicorn crest on the backstamp places this trio’s production around 1950-1960’s. the design features soft floral sprays in pink, yellow and grey tones over a pale background with delicate platinum or gold gilding on the rim and handle.
 
Flaws: Slight Crazing on teacup handle and base
