History: The back stamp of this trio was used by Myott from around 1930-1960, the “Ltd” version was adopted after the company became a limited entity in 1949 so this piece most likely dates from the1950’s. this hand painted banded pattern in soft muted tones of pistachio green, grey and cream, with concentric stripes and a matching pattern on the cup and saucer. The handle has a charming, hand painted green accent. The design reflects mid-century modern influences such as minimalist, clean lines, soft earth tones and practical shapes. Myott frequently assigned numbers to their patterns rather than names, especially for hand painted ranges. The code is likely unique to this colourway and may not have an official pattern name publicly documented.
