The piece is decorated in high relief with classical figural scenes, bordered by elegant double architectural swags and stylised acanthus flourishes, typical of Wedgwood’s Neoclassical inspirations. The reverse features crisp applied white oak leaf garlands around the neck. Measuring approximately 13 cm tall, this vase bears the impressed Wedgwood mark, "MADE IN ENGLAND," and a letter code used in the post-war period. There is some visible cracking near the collar and around the body, which affects the value but not the charm of the piece. A wonderful decorative accent for mantel or display, representing the grace and craftsmanship of England’s most famed pottery house. A delightful collectable for any Wedgwood or classical ceramics enthusiast. Flaws: Restored on the top lip of the vase
