History: Here we have a charming pair of mid-century novelty salt and pepper shakers cleverly modelled as celery stalks, complete with textured ribbing and molded leaf-like tops in a crisp celery green glaze. These ceramic shakers are unmarked but consistent with Japanese export pieces of the 1950s–60s, or potentially American novelty ware from the same period. Fitted with plastic stoppers, the pair adds a fresh pop of colour and kitschy kitchen flair. Measuring approximately 11 cm high, they remain in good vintage condition with typical signs of age.
