History: This stunning trio is a Royal Albert creation, showcasing classic elements of early 20th century English bone china. The pattern has a rich cobalt blue border with gold scrollwork, the cartouches (scalloped frames) featuring orange-pink floral bouquets with detailed foliage. The square plate which is less common than the round ones have elegant, scalloped edges, and lavish gold accents throughout. This is a classic Imari Revival style pattern but with added Royal Albert flair for ornate frames and shaping. The style and colour choices reflect the post- Edwardian shift onto more regal, luxury-oriented tea ware designs that remained popular until World War 2.
