History: This is a beautiful Paragon duo. The design features ornate aqua blue scrollwork, pink roses and gilded edges on a white background. This pattern is known for its rich, romantic colour palette and intricate transfer print with hand applied details. The back stamp includes the Royal Warrant (“by appointment…”) which Paragon held starting in 1933, continuing under Queen Elizabeth 2. The version of the crest and typeface used here suggest this was made after 1952. This duo set is a lovely addition to any tea ware set.
