History: A fine example of early 20th century Japanese Moriage Dragonware, circa 1920-1940’s. This vibrant duo features a hand painted three clawed dragon in raised enamel against a marbled green background, showcasing the traditional slip-trailed Moriage technique. Likely produced in the Seto or Kutani region for export, it remains in excellent condition. A striking and collectible piece of Taisho to early Showa era porcelain.
